Lovegrove Korea Photos - Week 6

Week 5

Our last Sunday at Seoul Bible Church was a little hard, because of so many new friends we now have to say goodbye to. Here is a group of us still hanging around long after church had ended.

After church each Sunday is a Bible study time, normally taught by one of the school teachers. This Bible study takes the place of a Sunday evening service.

After Bible study is a prayer time.

We have become good friends wth the Han family, who invited us to dinner the weekend before we left.

We also invited the Oh family over for a goodbye dinner. Mrs. Oh said "this is the first time I ever had Korean food cooked by a foreigner."

I left my Korean/Engish Bible with the Joh family. Here Elliot and the Jo kids are making English alphabet letters with their body.

In one last little sightseeing fling, we watched the changing of the guard at a Korean palace and visited one of the famous outdoor markets.

So many church people went out of their way to help us that we can't remember them all. Sue came to the airport to see us off and was a big help with the kids.

We all enjoyed the genuinely friendly and helpful staff on Singapore Airlines. There is a politeness to oriental societies that Americans could learn from.

We took off these costumes soon after this picture was taken, but there will always be a little bit of Korea with us in our hearts.
