This Hubble-themed photo montage is 172 megapixels, measuring 24,000 by 7,200. The image below is 1/10 size when enlarged; the original is not posted online. The background is the Hubble high resolution photo of Andromeda in full resolution. In the foreground is the shuttle launch and the telescope as seen in space. In the sky are Hubble photos of a stellar nursery, Jupiter, and asteroid 6478 Gault.

This piece is called Tears and is my reaction to some of the events of 2020.

Generative Art

I am experimenting with generative art, produced entirely by computer algorithm. The test images below are an artifical sunset which alters depending on the seed name given it, so that every different name produces a different sunset.
